The Element

Meticulously woven senses resides in the prosperous,
Revisits the opulent side of it,
Where the lack refuses the jouissance,
That element!

The appetence for the grail beyond avarice,
Blinds the avidity proliferating within,
Where the sanity hankers for that burgeoning passion,
Invites that element!

Purpose of thy entity is to ferret about for that element,
The sole architect to liberate thou from the grind,
Where one concedes to his veiled gusto,
Grows to be the unconquerable doyen!

The pellucid consciousness will thus reflect,
Enumerating the relinquishments,
Of consigning thyself to the refining of that element,
To find you coalescing with thy true self!

Astray Mind

Upon the crossroads of tussles,

Strikes the lightening of agony,

Virulent the question destroys,

The mindfulness!

Ferocious hounds consume the ability,

The direction waivers its destination,

Upon that nimbus that halos the mind,

Lets the comportment depart.

Rendered by the hands-

powers that thou operates,

Struck by the strident voices,

Sibilant consciousness numbs the sanity!

Grounds crack upon the veneer,

Visages slithers past thy needs,

Folks and lords camouflage their roles,

But the neurotic sense knows it all!

A puppet conforming to thou master,

Master wrecking each modicum of thy resilience,

Let thyself assuage from clutches of such marionettist,

Let this persona regain its mind!

What is beauty?

On being asked this question by my teacher, it really made me think that we define beauty on a very shallow basis!

Many of us will still define it to be: Not the physical beauty but the inner one!

Even i was trapped under the same definition… But on questioning myself on this very question i came up with this…

” Beauty is an echo of your comeback after a setback! Its how beautifully you handled yourself through the difficult times and brought yourself to a stage you are known for!”

Everybody faces a challenge and a difficult time- its a part and beauty of life… But some surrender and some take it as a challenge to make it their move and have that beautiful comeback!

Whats your move?

Washed sands

Cool winds gushing past,

Stroking strands of hair,

Massaging the face,

Peaceful and serene waves wash through the legs.

Footprints i leave as every step I move ahead,

Wet sand imprints my footstep,

Waves of beauty wash it along and

When I turn back I see a new trail of that sand…

As if as fresh and virgin!

Learn to live life that way,

Every situation be welcomed as these winds massaging your face and soul,

Every circumstance be as the stroke to your hair,

Every difficulty be that peaceful and serene wave setting a new trail for you!

Learn to let yourself free,

Let the nature wash your difficulties as the waves did to the previous set of your footprints!

Let destiny do what it destined,

And see the beauty of your life!

Imagine there’s no border

Its easy if you think,

Nothing to divide and rule for,

And no such news which makes you sink,

Imagine all the people dying to let us live!

Imagine there’s no money

Its easy to live if you try,

Nothing to bridge gaps between people,

And tears that all share and cry,

Imagine all the people defining humanity and life!

You may say its all a dream,

But why not we dream this together,

I hope we bring this all alive,

And knit a world in which we live all together!

Imagine no fears,

Its possible if we can,

No need for living in isolation,

A brother to each man,

Imagine all the people living like we dreamt of!

You may say its all a dream,

But why not we dream this together,

I hope we bring this all alive,

And knit a world in which we live all together!

# This poem has been inspired from the very famous Song Imagine by John Lennon!

Black bird

Dead that night could be,

breathing on the blackbird’s notes,

as she sang… reciting the song she wrote!!

Crackling fires and a river flowing a side,

winds that gave shivers and a tree on which the black bird cried!!

Wanting you to fly with her,

amidst that dark screaming dead night,

she felt lonely and a song that she continued…

she sighed!!

Waiting for the morning to break dawn,

her song would then end…

that night seemed too long,

she Started yet another song she penned!

Another song that she began,

I was a stranger to her words and what she meant,

Another loner that I was…

I sat under the tree and began to listen!

Crackling fires and a river flowing a side,

winds that gave shivers and a tree on which the black bird cried!!

Under the tree someone trying to know what she sang,

Together we sang, while the dark woods rang!

Why not?… And needn’t be!

Why not I come back home late?

And needn’t answer all questions asked for doing so…

If boys are allowed to hangup with their friends so late,

And when asked… “We went for a late night show!”?

Why not I wear that dress?

And needn’t change them as they ask me to do…

If boys can come out in their knickerbockers, shirtless,

Me wearing sleeveless is unacceptable, boys in that look cool?

Why not I get a tattoo?

And needn’t take permission for getting one…

When my brother was not even questioned once,

And me to not have a tattoo… is that even done?

Why not I spend my money on myself?

And needn’t tell all where I earned all that from…

when a boy can spend his parents money on girls,

a new girl which he brings every month!

Why not I roam about freely in those streets?

And needn’t fear that someone might chase me…

When that same boy is not asked by his parents what he was upto,

But the girl is accused that it was all her fault, What an analogy!

Is that all you talk about equality?

Then why not have shame on us…

And needn’t give any excuses for it,

When can’t we stand up together to fight for the cause,

And make a society that together we knit?

Are we Ready yet?

Looking through the glass window,

I saw myself vaguely,

Rather the outside world better!

Is It how we are?

I guess from the beginning,

In the race to know the outside,

We often miss ourselves within,

We seem to be so unclear!

So unclear,

That we often misjudge our own judgements,

Question our own intention,

Curse our own being!

Things on the outside are appealing,

From that dress to that girl,

Why I am not like her? Is the question,

Get distressed and curse once again!

To fit in this ruthless world,

One seems so happy and satisfied physically,

But is sinking every second within,

Untying a knot towards the lease of life!

I feel, life is a game of hold,

Where you stand on the same starting point,

Depends where you finish!

So, To start the game, always question…. Are we ready yet?

Irresistible Pastime

I took a heavenly stroll remembering the irresistible pastime,

The time had come to do so,

In the mornings with my empty heart,

The heart had to suffer the day going through.

With my light feet on the morning dew,

I had to trek many heavy steps,

With the breath in the open air,

I had to take in a lot of stress,

With my eyes closed feeling the winds gushing,

I had to catch a lot that was rushing,

With my fingers dancing on the bushes green

I had to set many things free,

With these I remembered such heavy yet irresistible pastimes,

But the time had come to do so…

With my heavy heart,

Waiting to be set light,

With my worn out feet,

I had to heal the humanity’s seed,

With my breathless breaths,

I had to breathe all I could get,

With my choking self,

I had to resuscitate all that was left,

With my cuffed hands,

I had to free all who had to flee!

With my restless conscience,

I felt the rains falling dense and slow…

With these yet again I remember,

My irresistible pastimes…

The ones which recite my present!
